Hi, I'm Elizabeth Jubril, the founder and creative behind TouchedByEJ.

My journey into the beauty industry actually started with makeup. At just 13 years old, you'd find me in front of the mirror perfecting my eyeliner before I eventually started practising on my mum and sister. I still remember doing my sister's makeup for her 16th birthday — she's 27 now, which just shows how long beauty has been part of my life.

As the years went on, my passion for beauty grew beyond makeup and into hair. I became the go-to person for styling my own hair, then my family's, and eventually my friends'. What started as something I genuinely loved soon became something I wanted to pursue professionally, and in 2024, I officially took the leap and turned my passion into my business.

One of the things I love most about what I do is meeting new people and building genuine connections. Every appointment is about so much more than hair or makeup — it's about creating a space where you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident.

There's honestly no better feeling than watching a client look in the mirror at the end of their appointment and seeing their face light up. Knowing I've played a small part in making someone feel beautiful and confident is what makes this career so rewarding.

Whether you're getting ready for a special occasion or simply treating yourself, my goal is to make sure you leave my chair looking your absolute best and feeling even better.
